Colin is GM of Krutham and responsible for day-to-day operations in South Africa.
He also heads up Krutham’s wide range of media projects and writes the editorial for key Krutham reports including Top Securities Brokers, Top Private Banks & Wealth Managers and Financial Mail Ranking the Analysts. He produces a series of energy publications that are distributed in Business Day.
Colin also manages Krutham’s various projects related to black economic empowerment and managed the Sanlam Gauge, the ground breaking research project launched in 2021 that measures transformation across the economy and produces a national B-BBEE scorecard as well as one for each sector.
He is a highly experienced financial journalist who has published and edited a variety of publications including Smart Investor, a publication for retail investors; Business Day Management Review which highlighted the latest thinking in management strategy; and Business Day Real Business, a guide for owner-managers of small businesses.
Colin holds a BJourn & Media Studies degree and BA (Hons) in psychology from Rhodes University.
