Leading research and consulting firm Intellidex has appointed Nolwandle Mthombeni as its senior banking analyst. Mthombeni will lead research on the banking sector both within Intellidex’s capital markets research and in its strategy research. She will work with investors as well as banks and wider market infrastructure providers on developing insights, strategy and policy.
Nolwandle joins Intellidex from Mergence Investment Managers where she led analysis of financial services in the listed equities team.

Nolwandle has worked in various roles in the financial services industry over the past decade. She is also a market commentator and columnist for Fin24. She has a BCom(Hons) in financial analysis and portfolio management from the University of Cape Town.
