The Sanlam ESG Barometer is an annual report produced by Krutham in collaboration with Business Day and sponsored by Sanlam. It is the first study to provide an in-depth exploration of the ESG practices of listed South African companies and assess how listed companies actively improve environmental and social outcomes through their activities. We highlight the progress made in integrating sustainability into business operations, the innovative approaches to delivering on SDG commitments and the challenges and opportunities in the journey towards a more sustainable economy and society.
